This book is almost unused, having only been opened a few times. However, as it is over 40 years old, there is some yellowing and damage to the binding and some pages.

This handbook contains approximately 2,800 domestic and imported LM instruments sold in Japan, along with their general specifications, photographs, and prices. The instruments are categorized into 5 parts and 21 chapters by price, and within each brand, they are generally arranged in Japanese syllabic order.

In the guitar section, solid-body electric guitars are classified under Electric Guitars, semi-acoustic and full-acoustic hollow-body electric guitars are under Acoustic-Electric Guitars, and all electric basses, regardless of whether they are solid or hollow body, are classified under Electric Basses. Guitars that do not use electricity, such as folk guitars and Western guitars, are included under Acoustic Guitars, and acoustic guitars with built-in pickups are listed under Electric Acoustic Guitars. Please note that gut guitars (nylon string guitars, classical guitars) have been omitted. Furthermore, flat mandolins, banjos, and steel guitars, which are often used in country and bluegrass music, have been added to the guitar section.

This also serves as valuable material from the early 80s music industry.
